History
Koç.net was established in 1996 to develop a wide area network and Internet infrastructure for Koç group companies, and became a company in 2000 acquiring Fornet and expanding its scope of services, and achieved a leading position in the market due to its customer potential.
Today, Koç.net generates 75% of its revenues from non-Koç customers, providing its corporate customers a wide range of data services including access services, security services, hosting and ASP services, campus services, multimedia services, and VISP services, and it has begun providing phone services after obtaining Type A License for Long Distance Telephone Services from the Telecommunications Authority on 17 May 2004. Koç.net provides ADSL and phone services in the personal communications market under the BiRi brand since August 2008.
